Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead.
Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; relevant databases; email/ SMS enquiries; advertising portals; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations.
Qualification of leads by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.
Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and develop content, marketing materials and different strategies to promote those offerings.
Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
Attend periodic sales training where applicable.
Seek branding opportunities through various means; work on emailing software and develop promotional campaigns.
