Job Description

  • Throughout all the above tasks the resource will closely coordinate with external counsel.
  • Work with the reporting manager on legal practice standards initiative, and on planning and executing department processes, improvements and training.
  • Assist the reporting manager in structuring, drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of matters from standard commercial contracts, to complex, high value transactions and cutting-edge business initiatives; provide day-to-day corporate and business law counselling; administer and resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships; and legal review of procedural and government compliance issues. The job also includes managing of all litigations that the company and its businesses are involved in.
  • Responsible for assisting Group Legal Head and Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws by identifying compliance issues and advising colleagues accordingly and monitor compliance status of the Company periodically on the Compliance Management Tool.
