Recruitment For ERP Project Manager

Role:

  • ERP Project Manager- Higher Education Sector will project manage medium to large, complex implementations of ERP software (Finance, Student Administration, HR/Payroll) in the higher education sector which may involve a number of significant work streams and the management of subcontractors or partners
  • To manage the delivery of successful projects that deliver expected financial return, that provide references, case studies and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • To act as the liaison between the customer and the company to ensure that both parties meet their contractual obligations and that the project meets the customer's expectations as agreed at the project's inception
  • To provide bid management support by working closely with Sales, Pre-Sales and Client Management to win new work


Essential Requirements for the ERP Project Manager- Higher Education Sector:

  • A minimum of 5 years software implementation project management working for a software author, vendor or consultancy, or implementing directly for an HEI
  • Successfully completed a number of full lifecycle projects with values in the region of £500K+
  • Familiar with ERP or Student packages such as Unit4 Business World, Oracle Campus, PeopleSoft Campus, Tribal SITS Vision, Technologyone OneUniversity, Ellucian Banner or other Student and ERP systems designed for the HE sector
  • Must have delivered in these solutions into the High Education sector
  • A project management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2 or Association for Project Management (APM) as well as solid change and people skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate innovation, attention to detail, commercial judgement and gravitas
  • Must be comfortable managing both the project implementation team and working as a member of the project management team in driving the business forward and achieving both short and long-term objectives
  • Prepared and used to travel throughout the UK (Typically 3 days per week on customer site)
