A site engineer offers advice in the planning, co-ordination and supervision of technical aspects of construction projects.
A site engineer’s role is vital to a construction project: they have a number of responsibilities including solving technical issues, providing advice, management and preparing reports.
Travel: visiting sites and clients is integral to the job.
Location: A number of large construction companies are based in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland; some offer opportunities to work on projects overseas.
Civil engineering companies.

Public sector organisations.
Most site engineers have at least a primary degree in a relevant subject such as construction, building or civil/structural engineering.
Experience of the working environment and management are beneficial.
To become a chartered engineer a degree accredited by
