Internal Ombudsman job vacancies in State Bank of India on contract basis
Qualification : Graduation in any discipline
Other Qualifications : i. The official should either be a retired or serving officer not below the rank of Deputy General Manager (or equivalent) of any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Financial Sector Regulatory Body other than State Bank of India or erstwhile Associate Banks of State Bank of India (e-AB’s). ii. The official should not have worked/ be working in any capacity in State Bank of India or erstwhile Associate Banks of State Bank of India (e-AB’s). iii. The official should have superannuated or have taken voluntary retirement at a rank not less than that of a Deputy General Manager (or equivalent of Scheduled Commercial Bank other than SBI or erstwhile Associate Banks of State Bank of India (e-AB’s).
Experience (As on 01.12.2018) : The official should possess necessary skills and experience of minimum seven years of working in areas such as banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems and/ or consumer protection.

Fee : Application fees and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) is Rs.600/- ( Six Hundred only) for General and OBC candidates and Rs.100/- ( One hundred only) for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
Selection Process : The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
